A family wine estate
Family-run wine estate for 5 generations. Situated at the foot of the 12th-century church in the heart of the village of Lalande de Pomerol.
The vines are spread over 3 distinct appellations: AOP Lalande de Pomerol, AOP Montagne Saint Emilion and AOP Bordeaux Supérieur. The estate covers 13 hectares.
For 10 years, Monique Bedrenne worked to preserve her heritage, while adding her feminine touch.
Her son Rémi took over the running of the business, while maintaining the family spirit of respect and commitment to the environment.
More specifically, various initiatives in this direction have been put in place within the vineyard, such as HVE 4 (High Environmental Value) certification, and the planting of hedges in partnership with the ONCFS to enhance biodiversity (fauna and flora) in the vines, leading us to obtain ISO 14 001 certification in 2019.
Opposite the 12th-century church, we welcome you to our premises for a wine tasting.
The Lalande-De-Pomerol vineyard covers 7.30 hectares. The soils are well-drained and well-balanced with organic fertilisers. The rootstock is not very vigorous and the grape varieties are adapted to the qualities of the terroir.
